SHIPMENT TRACKING - HELP TOPICS

With DHL’s online Shipment Tracking system you can track your shipments anywhere in the world without a User ID and Password. You may simply search for shipment information based on a housebill number that is assigned when DHL processes your shipping request. Registered users have access to even greater query capability and shipment information.

Housebill Number Query

To query the Shipment Tracking system with a housebill number simply enter your assigned housebill number at the Housebill Number: prompt and click the [SEARCH] button. The DHL Shipment Tracking system will display a summary of the Shipment Details. The system will display the following error message ‘Sorry, Housebill Not Found, Please Try Again’ if an invalid housebill number is entered. Please recheck the number entered and try again.

Registered User Access to DHL’s Shipment Tracking System

Registered Users of the Shipment Tracking system have access to an enhanced level of shipment details and searching capabilities. Registered Users may query the Shipment Tracking system by Housebill Number, Reference Number, Masterbill Number, Origin, Destination, Shipper Name, Consignee Name and date. Please contact your local DHL representative or local office to register for this access.

Q: Why does it seem that the response time is slow?

A: DHL's web site is designed to easily navigate between its web tools at the fastest speed possible while providing details in an attractive format. All pages on DHL's web site should download quickly, but if you are experiencing slow response times, please review some of these suggestions:

  • Turn off the automatic downloading of images in your browser.

  • Netscape Navigator: uncheck AUTO LOAD IMAGES in the OPTIONS menu.
    Internet Explorer: go to VIEW menu, OPTIONS item, GENERAL tab and uncheck "Show pictures" in the Multimedia section of the display.
  • Install the fastest modem your Internet Service Provider (ISP) supports.
  • If your access to the Internet seems abnormally slow at a specific time of day you might be experiencing a capacity problem with your ISP. Please try accessing again at a different time.
